The MLAGB Welsh Open competition will be held over the weekend of 29 to 30th of June. The meeting is held under MLAGB rules.

Categories for Pistol, Revolver, Rifle in both Original and Reproduction guns. Reproductions must follow the “Spirit of the Original” and only Black Powder is allowed.

Ignition systems include percussion, Flintlock and Matchlock.

This is a nominated match by the MLAGB so your scores will count for selection to the Great Britain Team.

1. Free Black Powder Muzzle Loading Rifle Competition – any black powder muzzle loading rifle. 50 metres. Offhand.
2. Military Black Powder Muzzle Loading Rifle Competition – Black Powder muzzle loading rifle (original or reproduction) using Minie balls of .577/.58 or .45/451)  50 metres. Offhand.
3. Black Powder Cartridge Rifle. Original or reproduction chambered for an original black powder cartridge and shot with black powder cartridges only. Iron sights only.
4. Flintlock Rifle Competition – 50 metres Offhand.
5. Welsh Rifle Champion – Welsh Nationals Only. Aggregate of Comps 10 & 11 FREE
