It is proposed to hold a training weekend at Bisley Camp over the period 01-03 February 2013. This is aimed at new shooters and shooters who have not competed at major competitions and will be eligible, subject to selection, to represent Wales in National Competitions. It is hoped that the more experience shooter will also attend to assist and possibly test sights and re-loads at 50m.

The weekend session will start early on the Saturday on Melville ranges with coaching on all aspects of gallery rifle shooting using small bore, and centre fire rifles, LBP and LBR. Sunday will be on Century range for Centre fire rifles. It is also proposed to hold the AGM of the Welsh Gallery Rifle Club sometime over this weekend.

Due to the cost of ranges, in order to make this weekend training session cost effective we require at least ten people to attend. Accommodation has been sourced and is very economical, basic accommodation-£5.00(Sleeping bag required.) Breakfast-£5.00. or club-house accommodation at £25.00 B&B, all per person. Any less than ten and the training session will not proceed.

If you have any queries regarding the weekend or can confirm that you wish to attend, please contact me either by e-mail or phone. Once the magic number of ten has been reached I will confirm and issue full instructions to those attending.
