Yet again; another busy month with the air competition being the last on the competition calendar for this year but hopefully the boys who shoot air will be arranging a winter bench rest challenge which will take us up to Christmas. (12 weeks away – you don’t want to know that do you!!).

About Christmas – there is going to be a Club Christmas Dinner this year to be held on the County Showground in the Pavillion Hall on Saturday the 12th December 2009.  There is a choice of two starters, three maincourses and three deserts; there will be cheese and biscuits, coffee and mincepies to finish.  Also!! something we have not had before at our Christmas functions, live music, and if your not too full then maybe some dancing to work off the food.

The cost is £18.00p.p non refundable to be paid in full by the 1st December 09.   Any member who would like to attend please could you put your name on the list that has been posted at the Range as soon as possible in order for us to book the tables.

John Munt went to Valencia (Golfo de: Spain) with his Black Powder Pistols for the European Championships. He had a good time and enjoyed the shooting but unfortunately didn’t bring back any medals – next time maybe!!

The 50m range is coming along great thanks to Barrie and all the members who have helped to make the range suitable for use.
