Wednesday 22nd May 2013: We all had a great day. The weather was fine but windy. We shot at 300 yards in the morning and at 500 yards in the afternoon.

To some of us this was a big first. These longer ranges are usually reserved for visits to Bisley. To shoot a muzzle loader at these distances and score well, was an added bonus.

Both Pete Biebrach and Paul James used muzzle loaders and managed good scores.

The rest of us were using the like of 8mm’s or 308’s. Nick Minchin was slotting in bulls at 500yds with his .308 like a good ‘un. (See pics)

We look forward to our next visit – click here for details.
