As the Club now has funds in hand for significant range development, a ballot was conducted amongst the attendees of the recent AGM to determine the wishes of the membership about the priority order in which work should be undertaken.

The options listed were: To progress the construction of a new 100m range, to carry out repairs and maintenance to the fabric of the Clubhouse to avoid future excessive repair bills, or to carry out further improvements to the 25m range – in particular to improve the firing points and repair the roof.

The results of the ballot were as follows:

  1. 100m range – 16 votes
  2. 25m range – 15 votes
  3. Clubhouse repairs – 11 votes

In order to respect the stated wishes of the membership the Committee will now proceed to make arrangements to continue development of the range in the requested order of priority.
