We have an open meeting every Sunday morning from about 10:00am for Firearms shooting and Thursday evenings from 7:00pm for Airguns. This is when many of the members will be found at the club.

Why not join us?

Visitors are welcome to attend. Simply introduce yourself as a new visitor to anyone you encounter and they will arrange a guided tour, usually with a committee or senior member, or if he’s there at the time, our membership secretary. You can find out all about the club and the various types of shooting we do, and get any questions answered.
Your introductory visit to our club incorporates filling in a declaration form, this visit will be free and after that you will pay £2 per visit (to cover the costs of targets) for the next three visits, to enable you to decide whether or not you wish to join.
Anyone wishing to join our club must complete an application form to include two passport style photographs.
After that they will then be offered the mandatory probationary period of six months membership. Once accepted as probationary members, they have to attend the club regularly in order to comply with the rules of the club. They will be given supervision and training on the aspects of safety and gun handling for the extent of their probationary service.
Then of course, when every new prospective member has been vetted and police checks completed on every applicant, you may be offered a full membership of the Club. Prospective members are reminded that full membership is not granted automatically, but is dependant on regular attendance during their mandatory six month probation period. Once all the checks and vetting have been carried out, you may be offered full membership.
Applications can only be accepted from anyone aged 14 or over. A parent or adult relative must accompany applicants under the age of 16 when they apply to join.
Current fees are £120 per year for an individual or £180 for a family and £20 per year for juniors.
