Haverfordwest Target Shooting Club

Maintenance, Safety and Cleanliness Initiative.

As you may be aware the state of repair of the club was brought up as an issue at the AGM, and it was agreed by vote that membership of the club should from now on include everyone donating a moderate quantity of their time and effort for the upkeep of the club, rather than rely on a few individuals doing all of the work.

To this end a list of required work is being established and working parties will be organised shortly. Attendance at these work parties will be mandatory, but we will try and do it with volunteers first. To make best use of the skills of members, it is suggested that those members with particular attributes make these known, so that their time can be best used. Such skills as carpentry, plastering, rendering, building, plumbing, electrical work etc. could be valuable to the club.

If you have such skills, please make them know to Mark Simpins, the Fat Controller, in order to make best use of your limited time commitment to the club. Mark is contactable on 01834 861480 or 07770 731356 or email markjsimpkins@btinternet.com.

Even if you are not DIY minded, or have any professional skills, but would be happy to drive a paint brush or duster then please let me know.  A skills sheet is also available at the clubhouse for you to add your name details and contact number.
