On April the 24th members of the Dragon Rifle Club visited our club (HTSC) to see the different forms of Sports shooting that we
participate in, After a quick range safety brief the Dragons tried their hand at shooting Gallery rifles in .22 and .44 calibre thanks
to club members Phil, Chas, Lance for hosting this section. Tom very kindly gave a demonstration of his Smith Black powder rifle
and allowed the Dragons to try  Black Powder shooting. It was at this point noted that the Ladies shot better than the men.

The evening then moved on to Full bore centre rifle shooting on the 50m range, where the Dragons and members of our club who do

 not shoot normally shoot Centre Fire Rifles were treated to trying an World War Two Battle Rifle- 8mm Mauser, A modern Hunting Rifle
in 308/7.62 and a Modern Style AR style rifle also in 308/7.62. thanks to club members Matt,Peter B and Peter T for arranging this.
The evening was rounded up with Tea and sandwiches at the club house, thanks to Carol and the Davis family for their support and
culinary skills.
I would like to thank all the club members who gave up their time and ammunition to make the evening a great success,
We as a club look forward to an away match against the Dragons in 2019.
