Military Range Shooting At Penally

Our competitions secretary, Tom Davies, is kindly arranging with the military range at Penally for us to have the opportunity to shoot there. Hopefully we will be able to arrange a club day out in the next couple of months - the date will be confirmed as soon as possible.
There will be some requirements for members to demonstrate ability to shoot reasonably accurately starting at 200m range and this can be done via the club. It will be a great opportunity to use guns which are too powerful for our own ranges.
Interested members should please contact Tom for details, or add their names to the list on the clubhouse noticeboard.
There will be places for people who do not wish to take part in the shooting but would like to come and see what is going on and to participate in the event by taking up marker and safety positions. If interested please contact Tom Davies.
It's always a great day out when we go on away trips as a club - see this report on our visit to Barry Shooting Club in February which was organised by Jill Tanner and gave all that went an excellent day out.
