As always, the club was well represented at the annual Phoenix Meeting held at Bisley over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. Wales’s top black powder pistol shooters recently competed in the National Championships held at Haverfordwest Target Shooting Club. Sun 7th 25m Service ‘B’ Competition

The competition was very well supported and despite a unanimous agreement that it was ‘b****y freezing!’ at least it wasn’t raining and there was some good shooting enjoyed. Sadly, a number of our top guns suffered jams and other gun problems which gave some other shooters a chance to grab few league points. Barry Club Trip

The trip to the Barry Shooting Club on the 2nd was very very successful.   We left our club a few minutes after 9am due to a late arrival but once we were all on board we were on our way. We trundled along the M4 motorway goverened at 62mph in the pouring rain, wipers going and steamy windows, we stopped for a pit-stop in Pont Abraham services.
